Dear Mum, I constantly thank God for truly giving me the best gift in life; a fantastic mother. A parent should love their child unconditionally and you have surely given yours in abundance. It’s your ability to see through my fake smiles and make it all better. It’s the fact that you’d do anything to make me happy, even if it means going without. You also listen to me go on and on when no one else does (75% of the time lol). It’s your frequent prayers that have kept me safe. It’s the belief you have in me and your hilarious made up words that make you so special.

What I admire about you most is your enormous heart. I’m forever in awe when I witness your kindness and generosity for friends, family and even strangers. The way you make time for people is admirable, especially when you don’t even have time for yourself. It hurts me when it’s not reciprocated, but you never allow that to stop you because you’re completely selfless and honestly deserve the greatest things in life. I don’t think words are enough to tell you how much I love and appreciate everything you have done and continue to do. But, today is your special day and I just want to say THANK YOU... Thank you for being there. Thank you for always making me laugh. Thank you for being a shoulder to cry on. Thank you for listening. Thank you for being a great role model. Thank you for being strong. Thank you for not giving up on me. Thank you for your faith.
