GET TO KNOW ME LIST | 30 QUESTIONS

Hey loves,

I hope you’ve had a great week!

My week has been pretty productive. I’ve written up my Christmas menu, got rid of some old clothes, applied for a few jobs, made notes for future posts and tied up some loose ends. Oh yeah and I started a diet again (I start one every week lol).

Moving on from my weekly diet, I wish to start addressing you guys as ‘friends’ instead of ‘loves’. But before I do that, it's only right you know a little bit more about me.

So here’s a random list of questions I found online. Enjoy!

1. Are you named after anyone? Yeah, Joy-Ann comes up from my Mother (Joyce) and a lady (Ann) that was very special to her when she was growing up.

2. When was the last time you cried? Thursday.

Just like this lol.

3. Do you have kids?

Not just yet.

4. If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself?

Of course!

I have my annoying moments but my friends would definitely describe me as someone with a real big heart.

5. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

LOL hell yeah!

I’m such a sarcastic person but it’s ever so harmless.

6. What’s the first thing you notice about people?

Their eyes. You can tell a lot from a person’s eyes.

7. What is your eye colour?

Dark brown.

8. Scary movie or happy endings? I adore a happy ending!

9. Favourite smells?

Food, food and more food. I also LOVE the smell of Far Away Infinity by Avon and that special spray they use at the barbers after a guy gets a trim.

10. What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home? I’m going to go with Southampton as I was there for a period of three years.

11. Do you have any special talents? Well does knowing all the words to ‘Mans not hot’ count? All Jokes aside I’m great at writing copy, making curry goat (the best of the best) and decorating.

12. Where were you born?

The beautiful Emerald Isle of the Caribbean; Montserrat!

13. What are your hobbies? We’d be here all day if I listed all my hobbies because I like doing a lot of things. However, my top 5 would have to be travelling, singing, learning, writing and spending time with my loved ones.

14. Do you have any pets? No.

15. Do you have any siblings?

I consider myself to be an only child but I do have a half-brother and half-sister on my dad’s side.

16. What do you want to be when you grow up? I’m already grown but I'll eventually be the owner of a PR/Marketing agency (need to speak things into existence).

17. Who was your first best friend?

Vorke.

18. How tall are you? 5’8 (+ .5 to be exact)

19. How many countries have you visited? I’ve visited Antigua, Italy, Montserrat, Spain, Turkey, Portugal, Netherlands and Jamaica. You can do the Maths ahaha!

20. What was your favourite/worst subject in High School?

When it comes to my favourite subject, I really can’t decide between media and textiles.

Hmm, worst subject? Funnily enough I actually liked them all.

21. What is your Favourite drink? Animal? Perfume? I’m sorry but I can’t decide on a favourite drink but I will list a few of my faves. I love lemon water, strawberry KA, strawberry mirinda, peanut punch, Aloe vera (all flavours), tropical rhythms fruit punch, Pink and white barefoot Moscatto, strawberry and lime Kopparberg and supermalt (okay that was tad more than a few).

I’m not the biggest fan of animals because I’m quite scared of them but I did have three Guinea pigs which my mum looked after. I literally used to just watch her clean their cage and do everything really. When they died I was really sad though. So sad that I held a funeral in my garden for them and invited all my friends (I was in year 7 so please don’t judge me).

My favourite perfumes are Little black dress, Intense and Far away.

22. What Sports do you play/Have you played?

I’ve played rounders, netball, football, badminton and table tennis.

23. Have you ever been in love? Yeah unfortunately!

Kidding, love is a beautiful thing :)

24. Favourite memory from childhood? One of my favourite memories would be visiting ‘The African village’ when I was around 8/9. The African village was based in Essex and its grounds and old village hall replicated a proper African village.

Just look at my face- I definitely enjoyed.

25. How would you describe your fashion sense? Well put together!

26. What phone do you have? (iOS v Android?)

27. Tell us one of your bad habits!

I’ve got to hold my hands up and admit that I’m an over-thinker.

28. What musical instruments do you play/Have you played?

I’ve played the guitar, keyboard, drum kit, recorder and the African drums

29. What’s your favourite colour(s)? I love white and brown.

30. What’s your favourite music genre(s)? Dancehall, Hip hop, grime or whatever. I honestly like most genres. Just as long as I can buss a whine, do a little two step or just sit back and truly feel the lyrics.
