LIFE IS SHORT | HAVE A BALL...

Hey friends,
I can’t believe we’re in March already and I can’t believe that we had snow.
What's all that about?
Anyways, let me start off with a little confession to you guys, I changed the title of this post about 1000 times. I was feeling to be cheesy and then a tad naughty but I think the wall in Ballie Ballerson ticks both boxes.

Thanks for having my back Ballie!
My inspiration for this post came about due to how I’ve been feeling over the last few days, I’m sure you’ve all experienced those days where you just wake up and you randomly feel sad. If you haven’t then… *Does awkward turtle dance*
But all jokes aside, it is one of the weirdest feelings ever. It’s even more frustrating because you can’t talk or cry about it.
How does one actually deal with something that they can't even word?
All you know is that your sad but can’t seem to put your finger on the why.
But I think I’ve well and truly cracked the code - It’s a build up!
A build up of all the things you’ve shoved to the back of your mind. Okay, so it wasn’t particularly a hard code to crack but just carry on reading and nodding - Thanks xxx
Either way, we all have two choices. Deal with whatever disruptions there and then or just take a complete breather. Life is life and things will always disturb our path of happiness. It’s so easy to sit there and believe that our feelings are permanent but they are 99.9% temporary (had to cover my back lol).
"Everyone wants happiness, no one wants pain but you can't have a rainbow without a little rain".
Cheesy quote inserted? Check!
As I mentioned earlier, I was feeling really sad this week and the weather made it even worse. It’s not that I hate snow but it just makes getting around harder. Luckily for me my workplace was kind enough to send me home at 3PM on Wednesday. My day then had promise when one of my girls suggested that we met up for drinks and food. We all work near each other and finished the same time so it absolutely made sense. It was the pick me up that I thought I needed. It was such a great evening filled with laughs and shade. However, I woke up the next day in the same silly mood.

When life comes at you fast.
It wasn’t until yesterday that I went Ballie Ballerson with one of my favourite people that I realised that I just needed a break from being an adult. I just needed to be a big kid for a few hours in order to get my mind right. I was back in my happy place. I had great company, had balls been thrown in my face (get your mind out the gutter), retro cocktails, yummy food, made some new friends and was drizzled in compliments.
Sometimes all we need in this life is to just a trip to shoreditch.
Only kidding, we need deep belly laughs and to remind ourselves of how amazing we are.
You're doing great baby!
Yes YOU!
So don’t forget to breathe in and out and be thankful for all the good things going for you. Although you may have to dig a little deeper sometimes, you are here for a reason. Remember that always.
Lots of love,
Joy x
