IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS | THAT MATTER MOST

How factual is the above quote?
I follow a few inspirational accounts on Instagram and tend to just screenshot EVERYTHING they post. And if you don’t already know by now - I LOVE a quote.
When I saw this quote I thought to myself how simple and effective are these three little things. Okay, so maybe an apology isn’t so simple but being the recipient of any of these will surely put a huge grin on your face.
Sometimes we really do underestimate the power of the little things but in my opinion they’re what makes the world go round. For instance, I haven’t really been feeling myself recently and on Monday morning I felt extremely dreadful. But do you know what put a little smile on my face? A morning text from one of my friends saying “Morning beautiful, I hope you have a good day and good luck with your last week of training”.
Although at the time I received the message I was highly annoyed due to the jubilee line being suspended it suddenly put a big smile on my face.
Anyways that’s enough about my Monday morning.
GOOD MORNING TEXTS.

Good morning messages are the best of the best – It’s almost effortless appreciation.
Starting the day with a sweet message from a family member, friend or your boo makes a real difference. Such messages can have a powerful effect on your entire day. You don’t need to write an essay to make it meaningful, just a one liner will do the trick.
See examples below:
Have a great day love!
Morning, remember that you are amazing!
My mind ran on you this morning, hope you’re okay!
Good luck with your interview, I know you’ve got this!
I love you!
You know I’m here if you need me.
How you feeling this morning?
I can’t wait to see you later!
Okay, I can go on forever and ever because the possibilities are absolutely endless.
APOLOGIES.

Apologies are weird. Yes it’s all lovely receiving a genuine one but everyone is different. If someone does me wrong I expect an apology straight away but it doesn’t always play out like that. Some people don’t actually realise that they’ve disrespected you and some find it hard to say the words “I’m sorry”.
Also we tend to lash out on others due to a current mood and then feel embarrassed to start up a conversation to say sorry (I must say I’m guilty of this). Btw I’m not saying apologise for every little thing you’ve said or done but do think about how you feel when you receive a meaningful apology.
RANDOM COMPLIMENTS.

I do love a random compliment but at the same time I feel little uncomfortable. You know when someone over does it to the point that you feel like you owe them something?
Yeah. I really hate that.
Ignoring the uncomfortable feeling, genuine compliments are really nice and guess what… they’re FREE.
I feel amazing when I receive them and feel even better when I give them out. Just seeing the smile on someone’s face is priceless. If someone is doing well, has nice shoes, a new hairstyle, looks good or whatever - TELL THEM!
