Happy Easter Sunday friends!

Pinch, punch and whatever – It’s April!

This is my second monthly round up and I’m as excited as ever. I get to share my thoughts and other things with you that wouldn’t make it to a normal post. Plus I tend to feel that my life is pretty dull sometimes but upon reflection it’s actually quite decent.

Anyways, let’s get cracking...

The year 2018.

Oh my word.

Where is it flying to?

I mean the year just started and with a blink of an eye we’re now in April.

And then to top it off the clocks moved forward - I just don’t know how I feel about this.

Work life baby.

So as I mentioned in Feb, I started a new job in a different field with a great company. It was daunting at first because it honestly felt like my first day at school lol. I guess it was the unfamiliarity alongside the stress of wanting to be perfect from the get go. Nearly two months in and I’m honestly loving it!

Plus the support I get from my colleagues is absolutely refreshing.

Weight update?

This is currently a sensitive subject, so we’re just going to move on.

NEXT.

Out and about.

Sometimes I’m a grandma and sometimes I like to shake a leg and sing from the top of my lungs. Oh yes I really do.

Damn girl.

I can’t remember where I went but what I do remember is that I felt real beautiful that night. I need that confidence to come rolling back in like NOW. I went to a few other parties but wasn’t really in the picture mood. But I managed to screenshot a few videos.

Omggg guys, I went to watch H.E.R live (thanks Tan) and her voice was just bloody incredible. I went to her concert thinking that she wouldn’t sound as good as she does on her album. But I was truly blown away. Her voice is actually insane. If you don’t know about H.E.R, I suggest you check ‘HER’ out haha.

Holi-yay!

First holiday of the year is booked and I cannot wait to jump on that plane and soak up all of that sun. I really love travelling because of the new experiences that come with it, alongside the different foods to sample and most importantly it’s a time to just switch off.

How awesome is the colour yellow?

I love the colour yellow, so when I spotted these little beauties in Primark for just a tenner I had to buy them. I go on holiday next month and they’ll go perfectly with one of my pantsuits or maybe my swimwear.

I love a block heel sandal.

Bank holiday in Southampton.

I decided to book a spontaneous trip to Southampton because I believe it was what I needed and Southampton is really my home away from home.

A breather from London was needed alongside seeing friends that I haven't seen in nearly a year.

I obvs had to visit turtle bay during my stay, it would’ve been wrong if I didn’t. I know you’re probs thinking "There are turtle bay restaurants all over" but honestly loves they just don’t measure up to the turtle bay in Southampton. #Sorrynotsorry
